Warranty Policy For Services/Repairs & Devices
Warranty Covers:

12-Months warranty on any repair/service except for data recovery jobs

Only valid on part(s) replaced during the original service

Only valid for the device that was repaired/serviced

Any repaired or replaced parts that malfunction or do not work as intended

All data or partial data recovered as a service will only be covered for 6 months

Any devices purchased at JSPRIVATETECH are covered under a 12-month warranty, this warranty should cover any malfunctioning or defective part(s) the device has or develops at random. The warranty makes your device eligible for a repair(s), we do not exchange the whole device unless stated otherwise.
Warranty Does Not Cover:

Any physical damage after the repair

Devices that got water-damaged after the repair(s) took place

Software issues unrelated to the repair (ex, Data corruption after an update took place or the device was jailbroken)

Any data loss due to failing hardware: "If possible, We encourage our customers to back up their data before or after the repair takes place."

Guaranteed recovery of any data backed up as a service and lost or corrupted due to mishandling after the warranty expires.

The warranty can be voided If another repair is performed on the device(s) by an individual/entity other than JSPRIVATETECH after we service the device. Tampered with hardware after the repair/service (This usually applies to devices that were butchered or developed an issue after being worked by another entity)

Existence of known manufacturing and/or performance issues related to the device separate from the repair or service

New or unrelated issues/damages that have no connection to the original repair or service

Devices purchased at JSPRIVATETECH will not be covered under warranty if they develop a problem due to mishandling

Repairs/Services or Devices Purchased at JSPRIVATETECH will not receive warranty coverage for the following reasons:
1. ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE
2. WATER DAMAGE
3. INTENTIONAL DAMAGE
4. COSMETIC DAMAGE WHICH ALSO INCLUDES NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR
5. BATTERY DEGRADATION
6. RISKY MODIFICATIONS BY ANOTHER ENTITY
7. ACTS OF NATURE (EX. NATURAL DISASTERS)
9. SOFTWARE ISSUES DUE TO MANUFACTURES PUSHING UPDATES ON CERTAIN DEVICE MODELS.
Warranty Terms and Conditions:

This warranty applies only to repairs performed by JSPRIVATETECH and is intended to cover the customer with a repair after the service that was provided.

The warranty is only valid for the original repaired device and the original customer. It is not transferable between devices or if the device is sold or given to another person.

All repairs and services are final and non-refundable; services and repairs are covered under our warranty.

Your warranty can be voided if we are unable to perform a full diagnostic on the device because a passcode/password is unavailable.
No Fix - No Fee
With our No Fix - No Fee policy, we want to establish a sense of trust by offering you the best possible solution, so if your device comes in with a primary problem that we cannot fix, there will not be a fee. All of our repairs and services are only paid after we get them done. We believe in fair prices for our services, so we perform a diagnostic first. All estimates are based on the necessary cost to cover the repair and/or the amount of labor necessary to fix your device; our prices can sometimes include coverage for a secondary problem a device is highly likely to have. Electronics are not limited to one issue whenever they need a repair, we rely on our knowledge and experience to accurately help you determine what's the best solution but if the issue results to be less complex than anticipated we'll make sure to perform any needed adjustments to our prices. Diagnostic Procedure
In many cases, your device can be eligible for a free diagnostic. It's important to perform a proper diagnostic of the problem on your device so that we can start the repair process; this means that in the rare event that your device will require an extensive diagnostic and it becomes labor-intensive, a non-refundable fee will need to be paid in advance, but that fee will only be applied if we find the issue within your device. Once we've performed a full evaluation and determined how long it would take to complete the repair, we will send an accurate price estimate that needs to be approved by you to grant us the authorization needed to work on the device; when the estimate gets approved, it will, later on, be converted into an invoice and if a diagnostic fee was paid in advance, we will deduct it out of the grand total in your invoice. If any changes or readjustments need to be made, we will always update you before any work takes place. This process can be lengthy on some devices more than others, but that's all dependent on the issue (ex, water damage electronics might take longer to evaluate). We want to encourage you to give us as many details as possible from the start; knowing the history of a device can help us determine the best solution. Please take into consideration that the only way to properly run a diagnostic on certain devices is by having a password/passcode available; without it, we may not be able to warranty the repair or perform Data Recovery.
Ticketing Submission & Updates
With our advanced ticketing system, your connection with us will be personal and always private. Our main goal is to provide you with the best care, and part of that means we will keep you informed about the steps being taken toward fixing your devices; in order to properly communicate with one another, we ask that you provide us with an e-mail, phone number, and full name. We always create a repair ticket before we start working on your device and notify you immediately via e-mail once a ticket number has been created using your personal information. If you would like to create a repair ticket for your device, please visit our location, but if you're mailing in your device, you can always fill out the shipping form to get started. Our response times are based on our business hours and volume of inquiries, so we ask you to please give us time in advance so that one of our techs can get back to you. Please write us a descriptive sentence of the issue you're experiencing with your device; whether you're dealing with a liquid-damaged device or need the data extracted and stored in a safe place so that it can be accessed later on, please write it down as detailed as possible, this will help us resolve the problem at hand faster for you.
Ticketing Submission & Shipping (Mail-In Devices)
To mail in your device, fill out the shipping form in our "Mail-in Repairs" web page so that we can create a ticket number for you and properly match your information to the device you will be sending in for a repair. Within the form, please provide your full name, address, phone number, e-mail, and model of your device, together with a description of the issue. Although most devices receive free diagnostics, before submitting a mail-in form, contact us via live chat for a rough range/estimate and to find out if you're eligible for a free diagnostic. The most important part of the shipping form is to briefly explain what issue(s) you're experiencing with your device; we can only give you an estimated range before the device arrives, and an accurate price can only be provided once we run a proper diagnostic when we have the device in-hand. After the shipping form is filled out, it is really important that you add a note with your information within your shipping box in order for us to match it up with your intake form (shipping form) or print out our Mail-in Guide.PDF in which you can include your information and add it to your shipping package. Once we receive your device, you'll receive a notification via e-mail that your device has arrived at our location.
There's no other fee than shipping your device, which can vary across device models and locations within the USA.
We only take care of the return shipping for Phones, Tablets, Laptops, and Game-Consoles that we've serviced. We do not cover return shipping for devices that did not receive any service/repair. This includes devices that were denied a service because they were butchered by another entity (ex. Repair shop/Technician). If we receive a device via mail that you decline to fix later on, a return shipping fee will need to be paid. Before shipping your device to our location, contact our team to find out if we can service it.
Mail-In Recommendations and Precautions:
Once our form is filled out, please follow the set of instructions below and within our guide-through to safely ship out your device:

Double-check that a small note with your information is included within the package before sealing it or include our guide/pre-form that we made just for you (Mail-in Guide.PDF)

Use a durable Box, add Foaming material, and bubble wrap your device

Unless stated otherwise, every device being sent needs to come with all its parts; please do not send it disassembled.

Please do not include any cables (unless we ask that you do so) or retail packaging boxes that came with your device when it was first bought. We have our own cables, and boxes are usually disposed of weekly.

Through the shipping form, you can let us know ahead of time if your device is being sent in for a basic repair or if you need our data recovery services. This usually lets us know what needs to be prioritized ahead of time.

When mailing in your device, advise us if our services need to be rushed ahead of time. Our Rush-Service fees range between $20 - $100 depending on the type of inquiry.

When mailing in your device, advise us ahead of time if it needs mail-back rush shipping. Prices and time frames may vary depending on your location and device type. If you're not in need of rush shipping, we'll cover regular return shipping expenses if we perform a service on your device.

Please visit your courier's website to check their insurance rates and to be on top of the tracking number details of your package. You can also share this number with us so that we know its estimated arrival time.

We do not cover international shipping under any circumstances:
We are currently not accepting international packages; please check if any local repair shops can help you. -
It can be risky to send your device if you're outside of the country, and it's possible that loss and damage to cargo can happen during international customs transitions. We highly recommend going to your trusted local repair shop since we are currently not accepting international packages.
Shipping/Delivery Time Frames :
Delivery time frames can only be estimated and derived from the courier of choice; once a package leaves our facility, we have no control over how long it can take to arrive at your destination. We ask that you always keep track of your shipping number and check the details on the courier's website.
The typical time frames are between 3 to 5 business days, but we can always arrange express shipping to fill smaller time gaps.
The time it takes for a package to arrive at your location can only be estimated and not guaranteed. If you experience any delays, do take into consideration that holidays are not considered business days, your location can be harder to reach, harsh weather conditions/natural calamities, and even a shortage of staff can cause your delivery to get delayed.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges Policy :
Products/devices for sale:

All sales are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise. We provide exchanges within 30 days for certain products starting from the date of purchase. On the special occasion a refund is granted, it will only be granted through the original payment method.

Certain devices are not eligible for an exchange, instead, they're covered under our warranty.

A shipping label will only be covered both ways if an exchange inspection is granted and the exchange is approved after receiving and inspecting the item back at our facility. An exchange approval or refusal decision will be made after the product goes through our inspection process at our facility. If the product fails to pass inspection and we determine it's ineligible for an exchange, a shipping fee will need to be paid to receive your item again. If you don’t reclaim your item within 45 days, it will be automatically recycled.

We only ship within the USA and not internationally. We do not cover any international shipping.

If we exchange your item for a new one, you will receive another 30-day exchange period starting from the date we approved the exchange.

Prices are subject to change without notice and at any time for any or all products listed on our website; for this reason, only exchanges will be available.

Exchanges are not eligible for products returned with physical damage, liquid damage, or any other damage due to mishandling, negligence, or tampering.
Service and repairs:

All repairs and services are final and non-refundable; please check our warranty policy.

Diagnostic fees left towards a repair/service sale as part of the full price are non-refundable unless we are unable to provide you with a solution to your primary problem

Deposits left towards a repair or data recovery job are non-refundable (Data recovery jobs with low success rates due to having exponential amounts of damage may require a non-refundable deposit to start the job).

If you cancel the service/repair, you will not be eligible for a refund. On the special occasion, you're eligible for a refund, it will only be granted through the original payment method.

Certain data recovery jobs may have a low success rate, this can be due to certain devices sustaining too much damage, If your case happens to have a low success rate, we will make you aware before proceeding. These cases can be time-consuming and very delicate, so a non-refundable fee will need to be charged regardless of the outcome. Please be mindful that in the rare case your device happens to fall within this unique scenario we will reach out to you as to why this needs to be done,Thank you for understanding.

Our store is not responsible for any voided warranty after any attempted repair or after the actual repair/service took place.

We are not responsible for the loss of data due to faulty hardware or corrupted software, if possible, be sure to back up your data before and after any repair/service takes place. If your priority is recovering your data, please advise us ahead of time.

Our business reserves the right to discard or recycle any item that remains unclaimed for more than 45 days (about 1.5 months).

This is for all and any devices with water-resistant seals/materials. Please be mindful that our technicians will place back any seals/materials that keep your device safe from dust and water; however, we are obligated to share that the resistance will not remain at its original rating, and it will lower to a certain level.

Canceling a service after it's been approved may be bound to a cancellation fee if any significant amount of work has been performed on your device at the moment of request.
